Job Title: Teaching Assistant - 1:1 - SEMH - Conwy
JOB LOCATION:

Axcis Education are working in close partnership with a secondary school based in Conwy who require a teaching assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a student with SEMH. The behaviour of the pupil can be challenging at times so applicants will need to have previously worked with challenging behaviour within a PRU (pupil referral unit) or similar setting. Team Teach training or other similar de-escalation training would add value to your application however is not essential. Experience of working with other SEND such as ASC would also be beneficial. Applicants must have the ability to monitor and manage extremely challenging behaviour and remain calm under pressure and during challenging situations. The role is full time and is due to start in December and will continue until Easter 2019.
