Job Title: Teacher
We are looking for a passionate Teacher to join a specialist school in Frome. This Teacher role involves supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, helping them achieve academic progress while developing social, emotional and behavioural skills. Role Details: • Location: Frome • Hours: Monday to Friday, term-time • Pay: MPS scale, dependent on experience Teacher Responsibilities: • Plan and deliver lessons tailored to pupils with ASC and SEMH needs • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development alongside academic learning • Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs • Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCO, and specialist staff to support pupils • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment Requirements for this Teacher role: • Qualified Teacher Status • Experience teaching pupils with ASC, SEMH, or SEND • Strong classroom management and communication skills • Passion for helping children with additional needs achieve academically and socially This Teacher role in Frome offers the chance to make a real difference in a specialist school supporting pupils with Autism and SEMH needs.
