Secondary SEND Teacher – SEMH Location: Hackney, East London Salary: £160 per day upwards Start date: ASAP Job type: Full-time, long-term Description: Axcis are working with a secondary SEND provision in Hackney that supports students with ASD and SEMH who are working significantly below age-related expectations. Teaching is delivered at a primary or early secondary level, making this role ideal for a primary-trained teacher who is confident teaching literacy and numeracy to older pupils. Classes are small, behaviour is supported by experienced staff, and the focus is on engagement, structure and emotional development rather than exams.
