Support Workers Required to work at Schools - Bristol - Role: SEN TA Jobs
We are seeking to appoint Support Workers who have experience of working within Social Care settings and have had the Manual Handling and Hoist use training. We are working with a variety of Special Needs Schools in and around Bristol and they have requirements for part and full-time support staff to work with students with additional needs. These roles will be suitable for support workers who worked with young adults or adults with learning difficulties and/or physical disabilities.
This role will be suitable for you if the following match you:
- Worked within Social care settings such as care homes, respite centres for special needs
- Have training in Manual Handling, Positive Behaviour Management, Autism Awareness
- Want to work regular school hours 0830-1530
Even though the role is on a supply basis, there is the opportunity to be flexible with your time and work up to five days a week. The primary school is within easy reach of transport networks.
The ability to make inclusion a reality for all students with ASD and a contribution to developing their learning and social skills is essential as well as having strong behaviour management skills. If you are an LSA with previous experience of supporting pupils with additional needs and would like to gain more experience of working in Primary Schools please get in touch.
Salary / Pay Rate will be dependent on your skills and experience.
