Axcis are pleased to be working with a residential client that have 6 residential houses in and around Bristol and South Gloucestershire. The houses are a mix of girls and boys and cater for 2-6 people per house. The children have a mix of needs ranging from autism to SEMH/EBD. The children are in full time care and these houses are their full time homes. You will be required to work 18 hours - 24 hours at a time with sleep in hours too. The right support worker will have previous experience with children or adults and any training is a bonus: Manual Handling, MAPA, Safeguarding, Team Teach etc... This is a temporary position unless otherwise stated.

Please note: The details of this job are correct as of the start of the school closures. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open. We are therefore continuing to accept applications but please bear with us as there may be a delay on the listed start date due to the fact that the situation is continually evolving.
