Axcis Education are expanding and working with schools across Cheshire East and Cheshire West. Providing specialist SEND support staff, Axcis are proud to support a diverse number of special needs schools across Cheshire. Within these centres our support staff, help to provide crucial and necessary guidance to students who have been diagnosed with SEND. We work with schools who provide education to children from 5-18 years. We are looking for supply teaching assistant for day to day and long term assignments that can: - Be available two or more days a week -Will develop professional and effective relationship with students and staff - Have an understanding of special educational needs, including PMLD, EBD and ASD. - Treat every assignment as if it is permanent role injecting a sense of purpose into the classroom. Please note: The details of this job are correct as of the start of the school closures. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open. We are therefore continuing to accept applications but please bear with us as there may be a delay on the listed start date due to the fact that the situation is continually evolving.
