Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Full - Time - Special School - Primary - Sandwell - Smethwick I am currently working with an amazing special school based in the Smethwick area and they are looking for a special needs teaching assistant to join them in September 2020. This is a full - time, long -term role and you will be contracted to work Monday - Friday from 8:30am- 4:00pm. This school is situated in the centre of Smethwick making it really accessible via car or public transport; there are local public transport links and generous parking available on site. It is a lovely school to work at as the staffs has stated and they have also mentioned that is a very supportive environment that allows you to grow. You will need to have the following: - A valid DBS on the update service or be willing to pay for one through us - Experience working with children with additional needs - Experience working with primary aged pupils - Have a Level 3 NVQ (not essential but preferred) - Team Teach Certificate (not essential but preferred) Apply now as a role like this will not be around for long!

This is a temporary position unless otherwise stated.

Please note: The details of this job are correct as of the start of the school closures. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open. We are therefore continuing to accept applications but please bear with us as there may be a delay on the listed start date due to the fact that the situation is continually evolving.

All staff will be subject to our stringent vetting procedures, which include an enhanced DBS, full work history, references and a face-to-face interview.
