Axcis education is looking for an experienced teaching assistant to work in a well respected mainstream primary school based in Oldham rated 'GOOD' by OFSTED. Your role will to work 1:1 with a number of children with additional needs on a full time basis, Monday to Friday. The working hours will be 8:30pm until 3:30pm.
For this role, you will be required to have a calm and patient demeanour as you will be working in an early years' setting. You will be based in a year 1 class but may be required to move as and when needed if there are staff absences or holidays. The team is extremely supportive and welcoming and will help you along the way with any help you may require.
You have at least 6 months experience working within schools and or have a minimum of a level 2 in supporting and learning or equivalent. Ideally you will have a DBS on the update service otherwise you must be willing to process a new one.
