JOB LOCATION:

SLD & Autism Teacher, Bristol Our client has regular requirements for Teachers to work with students that have special needs in SLD & Autism. Students ages range across KS2, KS3, KS4 & Post-16 however class grouping is often by need rather than age range. Class sizes are generally a maximum of x8 students with at least x1 SEND TA. The following criteria is essential and applicants cannot be considered unless they meet this. - Able to evidence significant experience of teaching pupils with SLD/Autism. - Have an Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service - Be available and able to commit to a 5 day booking. Desirable criteria. Current 2 day (12 hour) Team Teach positive handling certificate - preference will be given to candidates who have this. The teacher pay range is M2 - M6. Often there is a requirement for the teacher to undertake all the class teacher responsibilities undertaken by all class teachers and you would receive an equal entitlement of PPA time for this.
