Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School
Location: Chingford (E4)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:45pm
Contract: Full-time | Long-term opportunity
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Chingford is looking for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.
The role involves supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD and complex learning needs, working both 1:1 and in small groups to help children engage with learning and reach their full potential within the classroom.
Role Overview:
Full-time, Monday to Friday
8:30am – 3:45pm
Long-term placement
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience supporting children with SEN, including ASD, ADHD and complex needs
Be calm, patient and proactive in their approach
Work well as part of a supportive team
Be committed to supporting both academic progress and emotional wellbeing
