Start Date: Monday 3rd November 2025 ?? £89 – £95 per day (PAYE / Umbrella options available) About the Role Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join one of our inclusive partner schools from 3rd November 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in both mainstream and specialist settings. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide 1:1 and small group support, helping students with their learning, behaviour, and social development. Key Responsibilities Provide tailored support to pupils with SEND, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and Moderate Learning Difficulties. Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive, engaging, and safe learning environment. Support pupils with classroom activities, emotional regulation, and communication. Implement strategies to encourage independence and progress. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and SENCO. Requirements Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND (school, youth work, or care settings all considered). Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
