Job Title: SEND TEACHING ASSISTANT
We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team in the SE6 area. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic school environment, helping to shape the educational experience of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
Classroom Assistance: Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and managing the classroom environment.
Student Support: Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students who may need additional help, ensuring that all children can participate fully in lessons.
Resource Management: Assist in preparing and organizing learning materials and resources.
Supervision: Oversee students during breaks, lunch, and other school activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Inclusive Education: Work with children with special educational needs, helping to create an inclusive learning environment for all students.
Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience in a teaching assistant role is advantageous but not essential.
Qualifications: A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred. However, a strong desire to work in education and support children's development is most important.
Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, and a collaborative approach are key. The ability to adapt to different situations and needs is essential.
DBS Check: A current Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one is required.
