Job Title: SEND TEACHING ASSISTANT
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community in the SE21 area. This is a full-time position, perfect for someone passionate about supporting children's education and eager to make a positive impact in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Classroom Support: Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons, managing classroom behavior, and providing one-on-one support to students.
Student Engagement: Help engage students in learning activities, fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all.
Resource Preparation: Prepare learning materials and resources as directed by the teacher.
Supervision: Supervise students during break times, outings, and other activities as required.
Personalized Assistance: Support children with special educational needs or those requiring extra help to reach their full potential.
Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
Qualifications: A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable, but a strong commitment to education and child development is most important.
Skills: Excellent communication skills, patience, and a positive attitude are crucial. The ability to work effectively as part of a team is essential.
DBS Check: A valid Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
