We are seeking a full-time, long-term SEND Teaching Assistant for a local primary school aged setting, who require a 1-to-1 SEND TA to work with a Year 3 child for the academic year 2025 until a minimum of July 2026. This long-term role will be working a child who is new to the school setting having moved into the local area. You will need experience working in a school as a Teaching Assistant for a minimum of 6 months either in a paid or voluntary capacity, which will also be considered on a case-by-case basis. You will be required to work Monday to Friday for school times (8:30 until 3:30). This role will be term-time only and therefore you will be paid during term-time only via Axcis Education. This role has the potential to develop in future to a permanent role in-school dependent on funding. You will also need to hold or be willing to work towards obtaining an enhanced child & adult DBS certificate to enable you to work in-school.
