SEND Teaching Assistant required to support a KS2 student with Challenging behaviour! - London - NW - Role: SEN TA Jobs
One of our fantastic mainstream primary schools in Brent is currently seeking a learning support assistant to act as a role model to a male student in KS2 with Challenging behaviour every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8.15am - 3.30pm.
The school are seeking a sporty teaching assistant who is also passionate about sports i.e. football, basketball etc.
This role will be on a part-time basis with an immediate start until at least July 2018, with interviews/trials taking place immediately.
You will be required to support a male student with behaviour difficulties on a 1-1 or group-work basis.
There is also the opportunity for the right person to be taking on permanently.
Within the role you will have to work closely with the Head teacher, class teachers, your team and most importantly the student's parents.
This school welcomes applicants that don't have much experience but require SEND Teaching Assistant's that are ready to dive straight in with an exceptional can do flexible approach to the position and very sporty!
You must have great literacy skills and to liaise with the students parents effectively.

- Experience supporting students with Challenging behaviour.
- Able to fully commit for a year long contract starting Nov 2017.
