Looking for your next challenge in SEND? Axcis have a vacancy for a SEND teaching assistant at a well respected special school in North Liverpool. This a diverse, vibrant SEND school that has a strong team of permanent staff who can support agency supply. They are looking for a SEND TA who has experience supporting young learners with Autism and are able to help pupils engage in learning and experience the joy of learning. The school is a popular special school with a great reputation and is well resourced, with interactive whiteboard in most classrooms. Rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, this fantastic secondary school uses a range of innovative teaching methods to help their students make the most of their educational experience. The position is general in-class support - you may be expected to work one to one, in small groups or providing general in-class support as required. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to young people. You will be required to work with small groups of secondary age pupils, assisting them with their literacy and numeracy skills and helping to keep them on task. This is a temporary position.
