JOB LOCATION:

Axcis are currently working with a Primary SEND school based in Wandsworth for children with mild to moderate complex learning needs who are looking to appoint an experienced and dedicated teaching assistant to join their team. The ideal teaching assistant will have previous experience working with ASD or Moderate Learning Difficulties and be an enthusiastic and committed person. You will need to work well as part of a team, but also be able to use your own initiative. It is also essential that you have an understanding of challenging behaviour and can handle it effectively. This is a full time, long term role with an immediate start and will continue on until the end of the academic year . About the role: • Primary SEND Teaching Assistant • Full time, (Mon-Fri) Ideal Candidate: • Previous SEND experience is essential – ideally ASD or MLD • Experience with PECS and Makaton • Resilient with a positive attitude About the school: • Primary SEND School (4 – 11 years old) • Forward-thinking and dedicated staff • A 10-minute walk from local station If you are interested, then please contact Sade Akintola at Axcis Education on 020 7580 2956.
