Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant, Mainstream Primary School, Part Time, Camden
London - North
We require an SEND teaching assistant to work with one our amazing mainstream primary schools in the Camden area on a part-time basis. In this role you will be required to support students with moderate special needs (MLD) in a classroom setting during their KS2 studies. As this is a part-time role, the school will require someone who can offer at least 3 days per week. The school itself is a medium sized mainstream primary school which has great public transport links, being just a 5 minute walk from the nearest train station. Staff also have access to a carpark that is located on the school site itself. Throughout the academic year the school also make use of professional training which includes: communication and interaction, cognition and learning, sensory and physical needs, & social, emotional and mental health. To be considered for this part-time SEND teaching assistant role, you will have had previous experience of working with children in either a mainstream primary or special school setting, however no qualifications are required for this specific role.
