SEND Teaching Assistant – Learning Difficulties Support –Warwick Location: Warwick Contract Type: Full-time Salary: £89 – £105 per day / £445 – £525 per week Axcis Education is working with a supportive primary school in the Warwick area to recruit a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD) in KS1 and KS2. This long-term role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured, nurturing environments and can adapt learning to meet individual needs. The Role: You will: • Provide classroom and 1:1 support for children with learning difficulties. • Help deliver personalised learning activities and routines. • Support speech, language, and communication development. • Use visual aids and multi-sensory approaches to reinforce key skills. • Work closely with teaching staff and SENCO to monitor progress. About You: • Previous experience supporting children with learning difficulties. • A patient, flexible and enthusiastic attitude. • Comfortable adapting curriculum content and offering individualised support. • Understanding of EHCPs and progress tracking (desirable). • Passionate about creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
