Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant, Flexible Days
At Axcis Education, we are seeking flexible support staff who are looking for work in school times (arrive at school for 8:30 and finish at 3:30) on weekdays only.
We are working with several schools in Smethwick who are looking for dependable staff to come into school several times per week to support around classroom absence and need flexibility on their days.
You will be working with children of primary and / or secondary ages with SEND needs, helping them to access learning & develop in school. This role will be ideal also for students to fit around studies, whilst building up invaluable contact hours to help with your employment post-studies.
To be considered you will need:
- To be available a minimum of 2 days per week
- Have previous experience supporting individuals with SEND needs for a minimum of 6 months, either in a school or a transferrable experience role (e.g. support or care work).
- Hold or willing to apply for an enhanced child & adult DBS certificate
While in-role, you will receive:

- Weekly pay, paid on a daily rate from £89 per day (PAYE)
