SEND Teaching Assistant - Early Years - Autism non-verbal - Wilmslow Have you worked with pupils with autism? Do you have experience of Early Years or Key Stage 1? Axcis are recruiting for an experienced teaching assistant to support a pupil on a 1:1 basis in early years with autism. This is a full time and long term role starting in September. The school is a large and dyanmic school rated OUTSTANDING by Ofsted. They have a resource provision for young people with autism and have a strong focus on inclusion. The young person is low functioning and non-verbal therefore the ideal support worker will have knowledge of alternative communication strategies such as PECS or communication tablets. The pupil may also need support with toileting. If you have the relevant experience of Early Years and non-verbal autism for this then please get in touch today.
