Contract: Full-time, term time
Pay: £90–£100 per day (PAYE)
Axcis Education is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and associated communication needs in a specialist setting in Stratford-upon-Avon.
The Role:
• 1:1 and small group support for pupils with autism
• Use visual timetables, routines and sensory strategies
• Support communication, emotional regulation and engagement
• Work closely with teachers and therapists
• Help create a calm, structured learning environment
About You:
• Experience supporting autism or communication needs preferred
• Calm, patient and consistent
• Comfortable supporting SEND pupils
• Available Monday–Friday
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
