Location: Waddon, Croydon Days: Monday, Thursday, and Friday Contract: Until the end of the academic year (July 2026) About the Role We are working alongside a welcoming mainstream primary school in Waddon who are seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to support a KS2 pupil with complex behavioural needs. This is a part-time position (3 days per week), ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive both academically and emotionally. You’ll be working closely with one pupil on a 1:1 basis, providing tailored support both in the classroom (for short periods) and in designated SEND spaces for individual learning sessions. The Pupil The child you’ll be supporting presents with ADHD and some ASD traits, and displays behaviours such as swearing, hitting out, throwing objects, and making noises. The school has noticed he responds particularly well to firm, consistent boundaries and to adults who can build trust and rapport through shared interests — especially sports like football and running.
