Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA) - Secondary Job Location: Bury Job Working Hours: Full Time (8:45-3:30 / Mon-Fri) Are you looking for a new position as a TA in Bury? Do you have experience in 1:1 support with Downs Syndrome? If so, then I would love to hear from you! Axcis Education is currently working in partnership with an excellent school in Bury who are on the look out for an experienced TA to support a Year 9 child with Downs Syndrome. This role will be to cover full time and, for the right candidate, could become a permanent position! The ideal teaching assistant will: - Have experience of supporting Downs Syndrome children on a 1:1 basis - Have experience of working at KS4 level ideally - Be passionate about SEND - Have knowledge of various strategies involved with 1:1 support The school: - A large suburban secondary school in the Bury area - Provide exceptional training and development opportunities - Will offer this role as permanent for the right candidate As THE specialist SEND recruitment company; Axcis offers excellent training opportunities, including CPD training sessions on Autism Awareness, Team Teach, Behaviour Management and Non-verbal Communication, to name but a few.
