Salary: £150-£170 per day
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Experienced SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) Teacher to join our inclusive community in Sutton, London. As a SEND Teacher, you will:
• Plan and deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences tailored to the unique needs of each student.
• Creatively adapt the curriculum to ensure engagement and progress.
• Utilize effective behaviour management strategies to foster a positive, supportive classroom environment.
• Conduct assessments and maintain detailed records of students' progress and development.
• Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists and counsellors, to implement holistic support plans.
• Engage with parents and guardians to discuss their children’s progress and strategies to support learning at home.
• Continually develop your pedagogical skills and knowledge in special needs education through ongoing professional development.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Proven experience as a SEND Teacher with a track record of facilitating academic and personal growth in students.
• A valid teaching qualification recognized in the UK.
• In-depth understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent communication and empathetic interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
