Job Title: SEND TEACHER
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate SEND Teacher to join our dedicated team in the CR0 area. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) by providing tailored and inclusive education.
Key Responsibilities:
Personalized Learning: Design and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the specific needs of each student with SEND, ensuring their academic and personal development.
Classroom Management: Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported and encouraged to learn.
Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and track students' progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed to ensure continued growth and achievement.
Collaboration: Work closely with teaching assistants, other teachers, and external specialists to provide comprehensive support for students with SEND.
Parent and Guardian Communication: Maintain open and regular communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on progress and working together to address any concerns.
Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training and stay current with best practices in SEND education to continuously enhance your teaching.
Requirements:
Experience: Significant experience in teaching students with SEND, with a strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice.
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization or strong background in Special Educational Needs.
Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, patience, creativity, and the ability to tailor teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.
DBS Check: A valid Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
