Axcis Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a SEND school based in Southwark who are looking for a SEND teacher to join their dedicated and experienced team in September 2019. The school is a mixed school catering for pupils aged between 11 - 19 years old with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, where some pupils also have associated autistic spectrum disorder. The ideal teacher will be a dedicated and creative teacher with demonstrable SEND knowledge and PMLD experience. The successful candidate will be supported within the class by a senior teaching assistant and a team of teaching assistants. You will also be collaborating with therapists, specialist teachers and other professionals to support our pupils' diverse needs and enable them to learn and make progress. You should have an innovative and flexible approach to teaching for all learners. The school is purpose built with excellent facilities and modern resources and was rated 'good' upon its last OFSTED report. It is easily accessible via public transport and also has private parking amenities. This role is to start in September 2019 and will be a full-time role that continues on for the rest of the academic year. There is also potential for this role to become permanent.
