Job Title: SEND Teacher - ASD - Ealing - September 2020 start

A special school based in Ealing which caters for 4-19 year olds with ASD and SLD is looking for an experienced, passionate and committed SEND Teacher to join their supportive School Team in September 2020. The ideal teacher will be dedicated, reflective and resourceful with excellent teaching skills and high expectations of pupil achievement. As a SEND Teacher you will be able to demonstrable knowledge and understanding of effective positive behaviour management strategies, and the ability to think creatively to support pupils to overcome their barriers to learning. If you have relevant SEND experience and have a caring and nurturing approach to students and their needs, then we are keen to hear from you. Mainstream Primary school teachers, NQTs and Overseas Trained Teachers with a passion for SEND are welcome to apply. You should have an innovative and flexible approach to teaching and be keen to make each pupils learning experience exciting and engaging. The school is purpose built with excellent facilities and modern resources including a hydrotherapy pool, sensory rooms and creative outdoor spaces. It is easily accessible via public transport and also has private parking amenities. This role is to start in September 2020 and will be a full-time role that continues on for the rest of the academic year. There is potential for this role to become permanent. The role: o SEND teacher - SLD o September 2020 start o Full-time role (Monday - Friday) The candidate: o Must have QTS o Demonstrable knowledge of and a passion for SEND o Experience working with SLD, ASD or PMLD. The school: o SEND school catering for pupils aged between 4 - 19 years old o Experienced and supportive Leadership team o Excellent resources o Easily accessible via local public transport
