Job Title: SEND Teacher – Skills for Life (Specialist Setting) Location: Sutton Contract: Full-time Start Date: ASAP We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join a thriving specialist provision, supporting two small classes of students with a range of additional needs (ASD, ADHD, MLD). About the Role: You will lead the teaching of two classes: • Year 7 • Year 13 Each class includes 6 students and the ideal candidate must feel comfortable delivering music sessions. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons across maths, English, communication, music, cooking, and skills for life. • Create a positive, nurturing classroom environment that supports social, emotional, and academic development. • Use creative strategies to embed practical life skills and independence. • Collaborate closely with support staff to meet a range of individual needs, including those with ASD, ADHD and MLD learning profiles. • Assess and report on pupil progress, contributing to EHCP reviews and personalised learning plans.
