Job Title: Media Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Location: Plumstead, London Contract: Full-time, Term-Time Only Start Date: ASAP Are you passionate about media and committed to making education accessible for all learners? We are seeking a Media Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our dynamic team at a mainstream college in Plumstead, supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities within creative media courses. About the Role: As a Media LSA, you will play a key role in supporting SEND learners across media-based courses, helping them engage with practical tasks such as video editing, podcast production, and content creation. Working closely with teaching staff, you will ensure students have the tailored support they need to thrive in a collaborative, inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: • Provide 1:1 and small group support to SEND students during media classes. • Assist learners in using editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Audacity, Final Cut, etc.). • Support students in planning, recording, and editing videos and podcasts. • Adapt teaching materials and instructions to meet individual needs. • Promote independence and confidence in a creative setting. • Collaborate with teaching staff to monitor progress and update support plans.
