An outstanding Special School, based in Somerset (Nr Wells/Cheddar) for mostly boys aged 11 - 16 with a wide and diverse range of needs including those who have Autism or have speech language and communication difficulties is looking for a passionate; ambitious and inspirational teacher to teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The post is suitable for someone who can demonstrate a track record of raising standards and delivering outstanding outcomes for young people with Special Educational Needs.
The successful candidate will be a qualified Maths specialist, and will lead on the teaching of Maths and on Numeracy across the whole school. It is essential that candidates have experience of teaching students up to GCSE level.
This is a part time, long term role working every Monday and Tuesday to start immediatly.
