Job Title: SEND Learning Support Assistant
Learning Support Assistant – SEND School, Hounslow (Primary & Secondary Sites)
Location: Hounslow, London
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Salary: £92.63 per day (PAYE)
Start Date: After Easter (13th April)
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and engaging Learning Support Assistant to join our SEND school across primary and secondary sites in Hounslow. You will play a key role in supporting children with additional needs, helping them achieve their full potential in a nurturing and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Support students with a range of SEND needs in both academic and social settings
• Assist teachers in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities
• Provide one-to-one and small group support as needed
• Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
What We’re Looking For
• Experience in SEND settings is desirable
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
• Energetic, engaging, and adaptable approach to supporting learners
• Enhanced Child & Adult DBS, or willingness to apply
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
