Job Title: SEND Learning Support Assistant
Axcis are looking for experienced learning support assistants to work in a college in the Bromley area. As a SEND Learning Support Assistant, you'll play a vital role in providing personalized care and educational support to students with additional needs including PMLD, empowering them to thrive in their learning journey. Your compassionate nature and commitment to inclusion will contribute to creating a supportive and enriching environment where every student feels valued and supported. Key Responsibilities: • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with profound and multiple learning disabilities, both in academic settings and during daily activities. • Assist students with personal care needs, including feeding, toileting, and mobility support, in accordance with individual care plans and college policies. • Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment that promotes independence, communication, and social interaction. • Collaborate closely with teaching staff, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development and well-being. This position is full time during term time (9am-3:30pm) and the daily rate is £14.66 per day.
