Job Title: SEND Learning Support Assistant - Autism Specialist - Haringey
London - North
A primary school based in Haringey is looking for a SEND Learning Support Assistant who specialises in Autism to start a new role with them ASAP and continue on for the remainder of the academic year. This role will need a passionate and resilient SEND Learning Support Assistant to work with children with Autism and different abilities across Key Stages 1 -2. You will also be expected to help encourage the learning of children with SEND whilst managing their needs in line with their EHCP plan The role: o Work 1:1 with children who have SEND o Run small group activities with one or more students oProvide support to teachers in varying classroom. The ideal candidate: o Have previous experience working with SEND children, specifically with Autism o Have great communication and written skills o Have knowledge of both the KS1 and KS2 curriculum o Be a passion and dedication for working with SEND children. This is a temporary position unless otherwise stated.

Please note: The details of this job are correct as of the start of the school closures. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open.
