Are you an experienced HLTA with a strong background in SEND? Do you have the passion, commitment and skill to lead a new, inclusive and nurturing SEND Hub within a vibrant and supportive primary school in N17?
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable SEND Hub Lead to join our team and drive the success of our newly established SEND Hub. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a growing provision that supports pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities to thrive both academically and personally.
About the Role
As the SEND Hub Lead, you will:
Lead the day-to-day running of the SEND Hub and ensure high-quality support for all children accessing the provision
Work closely with the SENCO, class teachers, external agencies, and families to develop and implement tailored support plans
Model and lead best practice in inclusive teaching and intervention strategies
Support and mentor a small team of support staff
Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP reviews and assessments
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Holds HLTA status (or equivalent) and has significant SEND experience in a school setting
Has a strong understanding of a range of SEND needs including ASD, ADHD, speech and language, and social, emotional and mental health difficulties
Demonstrates excellent communication and leadership skills
Is passionate about inclusion and making a lasting impact on pupils’ lives
Is proactive, organised, and committed to continued professional development
