JOB WORKING HOURS:
My client are a SEND secondary school located in Lewisham. They provide education to children with Severe Learning Difficulties, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, Multisensory Impairments and Autism.
-National Curriculum modified.
-Classes range from 8 to 12 students with three support staff.
-Communication support base with three experienced staff support students with Autism across the school.
-Learning support base with experienced staff who support students with PMLD across the school.
-Use of Symbols and Communication in print. PECS. Multisensory approach. TEACCH approach, strategies and interventions. Speech and Language therapy. Occupational Therapy. iPads with relevant learning apps available to students across the school. All classes have computers with selected, suitable programmes available.
They are now looking for a float teacher, for the next two terms, to support their class expansion. This means you will be allocated to different classes to cover the teacher. This role would work for teachers looking for 3 -5 days a week .
Working hours 8.15am to 4pm. May differ on days for parents evenings etc.
Pay will depend on experience but ranges from £140 to £160 per day.
