Job Title: SEND Complex Needs Teacher - Secondary Special School
London - SE
A secondary special needs school in Southwark is looking for an experienced, passionate complex needs teacher to join their team. The role will involve teaching a KS4 class of complex needs students therefore the ideal candidate should be proficient in Makaton and PECS as well as having sufficient experience in working within a complex needs/ASD setting. This is a full time, long term role with the opportunity for the right candidate to apply for a permanent post in the future. This is a great opportunity to join a caring and supportive team and as the school has recently moved to a brand new building in the last few years, there are excellent resources throughout. If you are interested, then please contact Martin Keddie at Axcis Education on 020 7580 2956 or email

This is a temporary position unless otherwise stated.

Please note: The details of this job are correct as of the start of the school closures. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open. We are therefore continuing to accept applications but please bear with us as there may be a delay on the listed start date due to the fact that the situation is continually evolving.

All staff will be subject to our stringent vetting procedures, which include an enhanced DBS, full work history, references and a face-to-face interview.
