Job Title: SEND College Teaching Assistant, Worcester
We’re looking for a compassionate, committed, and flexible SEND Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic and inclusive college in Worcester, supporting young people aged 16–25 with a diverse range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). No two students are the same here—and that’s exactly how we like it.
From autism and moderate learning difficulties to social, emotional and mental health needs, our learners each have a unique path. We’re here to walk alongside them—and we need someone like you to help light the way.
What the Role Involves:
• Providing tailored, practical support in and out of the classroom.
• Working 1:1 and with small groups to help students access learning, develop independence, and grow in confidence.
• Supporting communication, emotional regulation, and life skills.
• Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to ensure every student receives the support they need.
• Promoting a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
Who We’re Looking For:
• Someone with experience supporting young people with SEND—especially in an educational setting.
• A team player with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for inclusive learning.
• Someone who’s adaptable, patient, and proactive—because flexibility really is key in this role.
• Confidence in building relationships with students who may face barriers to learning.
Must-Haves:
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• At least two recent, relevant references.
• A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.

Location: Worcester
Contract: Full-Time, Ongoing
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: From £89 per day (PAYE)
Start Date: From 2nd June
