Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant In Wednesbury

Location: Wednesbury
Hours: Full-time preferred (Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm)
Part-time considered – minimum 3 days per week
Pay: £89 per day
Contract: Long-term placement
We are working closely with a specialist SEN school in Wednesbury who are looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils on a 1:1 basis.
This role is well suited to someone who is calm, resilient, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs. You will play a key role in helping pupils feel safe, understood, and supported throughout the school day.
About the Role:
• Provide consistent 1:1 support tailored to individual pupil needs
• Support pupils with learning, behaviour, and emotional regulation
• Assist teaching staff with personalised learning activities
• Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
• Help maintain a structured, inclusive, and supportive environment
Who We’re Looking For:
• Someone with a genuine interest in SEN and child development
• A patient, flexible, and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience within SEN or education settings is beneficial but not essential
• A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
