Start Date: ASAP Location: Oldbury Position Type: Full-time preferred (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm) Part-time considered – minimum of 3 days per week Pay: £89 per day Long-term opportunity available We are currently recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated and nurturing SEND school in Oldbury, with an immediate start available. This role involves 1:1 support for pupils with additional and complex needs, helping them to engage with learning and develop confidence in a structured and supportive environment. The position is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people. Key Responsibilities: • Provide consistent 1:1 support tailored to individual pupil needs • Support pupils with learning, communication, and emotional regulation • Assist with the delivery of personalised learning plans • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff • Help maintain a safe, calm, and inclusive school environment Requirements: • A caring, patient, and proactive approach • A genuine interest in supporting children with special educational needs • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Previous experience in an SEN or school setting is desirable but not essential • A valid DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) This is a rewarding long-term role within a specialist setting where you can have a meaningful impact every day.
