Axcis are working with many schools in the Gloucestershire area that looking to recruit both temporary and long term teachers to assist in a variety of teaching roles in both mainstream and special schools. This can range from PMLD schools, PRU settings and special schools that focus on ASD or learning disabilities. Prior experience working with SEND pupils is essential with particular focus on experience with learning difficulties and adapting to classroom challenges. Successful candidates will have fantastic strategies for dealing with challenging behaviours as well as having a proven track record of providing a nurturing and caring environment for their pupils. We are able to accommodate provide flexible working options either day to day or long term placements. The day to day work can provide an option for someone who wishes to work part-time. If you have experience working in the mainstream setting or a special provision and hold relevant teaching qualification, we want to hear from you! This is a temporary position.
