JOB LOCATION:

SEN Teacher, All through Special School, West London, September 2020 An all through special school in Ruislip, West London, are seeking a qualified teacher to join there already excellent staff from September 2020 on a long term basis. This SEN teacher role will enable you to support students aged 4-19 with moderate to severe needs whilst working alongside brilliant teaching assistants who support teachers throughout all aspects of their role. A recent Ofsted report said; "Both teachers and support staff feel very well supported. They network closely with their colleagues in school and across the trust. Staff are all committed to ensuring that pupils become independent learners and grow to be the best that they can be" Situated just 5 minutes walk from the nearest tube station, the school is part of a family of schools within an academy trust, currently standing at seven schools, each offering a bespoke education for groups of children with different needs. Ideal candidates will have experience of teaching students with additional needs in 1-1 and group work scenarios. Previous experience with personal care and manual handling will be advantageous. The role is not specific to those from a SEN background, if you are a mainstream teacher who has always been interested in developing your career further, the SEN sector could be the ideal scene for you!
