SEMH & SEND Teaching Assistant – Primary Specialist School Location: Bournemouth, Dorset Start Date: May 2026 Hours: Full-Time, Term Time Only Pay: £95–£100 per day A specialist primary SEND school in Bournemouth is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from May 2026. This full-time role is ideal for experienced SEND professionals looking for their next rewarding challenge, as well as graduates aspiring to build a long-term career in SEND, psychology, education or youth work. The school provides a structured and nurturing environment for primary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), and additional learning needs. You will play a key role in supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis, helping them regulate emotions, develop positive behaviours and re-engage with learning.
