Job Title: SEMH Teacher
Axcis Education is urgently seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher or Unqualified Teacher to support a Secondary SEMH provision in Torbay, starting in September or from October Half Term and continuing until the end of term – with potential to extend into the Spring Term.
Location: Torbay
Start date: ASAP
Duration: Until end of term (with potential to extend into next term).
Role: SEND Teacher / Unqualified Teacher
Focus: Supporting secondary-aged students with SEMH needs
This welcoming and supportive school caters to students with SEMH needs who may struggle to thrive in a mainstream environment. The school places a strong focus on relational practice, supporting young people to develop vital communication, attitude, and social interaction skills. Your role will be to teach across the curriculum, delivering learning planned to KS2 level, with aspects of KS3 for some learners. You will be confident in delivering in English and/or Maths and will have experience teaching in a mainstream or SEND provision.
