Axcis Education is working on behalf of a special school that looks after children aged 7-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs in Chester. The school is looking to hire an experienced primary teacher to work within their designated provision until the end of this academic year. The start date of this position is currently unknown due to the impact of covid-19. The core duties of this Primary Teacher role are: -To carry out teaching duties to meet objectives specified in the school's schemes of work, cross reference with the National Curriculum and cater for individual children's needs inline with EHCPs -To assess, record and report on the attendance, progress, development and attainment of assigned pupils as defined by school policy -To provide a high quality learning experience for pupils -To work as a member of a specified team and contribute positively to effective working relationships within the school Requirements: -QTS -Experience within a primary and SEMH setting -Team Teach Trained - DBS certificate on the update service The school has close proximity to train links and public transport and has easily accessible parking facilities.
