Axcis are currently supporting an excellent secondary special school based in Wimbledon a short walk from Barnes station so transport links are easily accessible. This secondary special school are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join their ever expanding school with the role lasting for the duration of the academic year. In this role you will be working with a range of special needs including ASD, SLD, MLD and SEMH. You must be comfortable working across key stages 3 and 4 and a very strong passion for SEND is preferred for this role as you will be working with such a variety of SEND pupils. At this special secondary school consistency is extremely important to make sure the learners are not disrupted often so you must be able to commit for the whole academic year. Ideal candidate: " Consistent and flexible approach to learning " DBS on the update service (or willing to apply) " ASD, SLD, MLD and SEMH experienced " Available ASAP This is a temporary position.
