Job Title: Secondary SEND Teaching Assistant
SEND Teaching Assistant – Secondary School
Location: East London (E11)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 4:00pm
Contract: Full-time | Ongoing role
A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in East London is looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact, supporting students with a range of additional needs while also contributing within mainstream lessons.
In this role, you’ll work closely with pupils who may have ASD, complex learning needs, or behavioural challenges, helping them stay engaged, build confidence, and succeed in a structured school environment.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has experience working with secondary students, particularly those with SEND
Can adapt their approach to suit individual learning needs
Is patient, resilient, and positive in the face of challenges
Is eager to commit to a consistent, long-term position
