Axcis education is working with a new, purpose built school in tower hamlets, south east London to recruit, experienced, resilient and engaging teachers that have experience of working within challenging behaviour, SEMH and ASD. The school is based in lime house, Tower Hamlets and is attached to an existing primary special school with a great reputation. The new secondary building will house 20 KS3 to KS5 pupils who all exhibit difficult behaviours. Many of the pupils have been excluded from main stream education and this school provides a creative & nurturing learning environment. The role will be to teach small groups of pupils across general curriculum or focus on Maths, English or Science. Supported by specialist LSA's, you will deliver creative lessons that engage the pupils. The school offer a very flexible environment where there is the opportunity for outside learning and a variety of alternative educational projects. For this role, it is essential that you have QTS and prior experience in managing challenging behaviour with a compassionate and child centred approach. This is a temporary role. If you are interested, then please contact Sean Lowney at Axcis Education on 020 7580 2956. If you are interested, then please contact Sean Lowney at Axcis Education on 020 7580 2956.

This is a temporary position unless otherwise stated.

Please note: The details of this job are correct as of the start of the school closures. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open. We are therefore continuing to accept applications but please bear with us as there may be a delay on the listed start date due to the fact that the situation is continually evolving.
