Job Title: Secondary LSA - Full-Time - St Helens

Axcis Education is requires a secondary Learning Support Assistant to mentor students in KS3 and KS4 with learning and behavioural difficulties. The successful candidate will be required to carry out interventions with groups and on a 1:1 basis. Our client, a faith secondary school based near St Helens boasts excellent, modern facilities and provides an inclusive learning environment for students with a range of SEND. Duties Include: Assisting in the delivery of effective teaching on a one-to-one basis or in small groups Helping with the planning and delivery of lessons Supporting the academic and SEND needs of students Preparing classroom resources Providing feedback to teachers and parents Helping with extracurricular activities such as revision sessions As sponsors of the National Autistic Society and other notable SEND organisations, Axcis takes its duty of care very seriously and we do our best to find only the best staff for the schools we work with. We anticipate that there will still be a need to fill this vacancy either on the expected timescale (as many of the schools we work with will remain open to support SEND/Keyworker children) or when schools re-open.
