We are working on behalf of a Pupil Referral Unit based in Bristol which requires a Science Teacher on a part-time basis from November and onwards.
The work is part-time for 3 to 4 days a week and covering a variety of Science subjects. The classes are made up of 5 students at a time and there is an intervention support member on rotation through out the teaching hours in the school.
The PRU has a firm commitment to every child matters and required someone with strong behaviour management techniques, friendly and adaptable personality and excellent subject knowledge. The ability to deliver science in an enthusiastic and creative manner while building good rapport with pupils is essential as the students have emotional and behavioural needs.
The role is open to NQT Science teachers as long as they have previous experience of working in an environment where they have experience of managing challenging
behaviour on a regular basis.
Salary / Pay Rate will be dependent on your skills and experience.
